Green Tomato have been operating in Leicester for a couple of years, but have now extended their 'rounds' to include Market Harborough.
Travelling around the town in their repurposed milk float, Nisha and her team are bringing fresh fruit and veg right to your doorstep. A great way to reduce your carbon footprint by making fewer trips to the supemarket in your car.
The unique bell will signal their arrival in your neighbourhood, giving you the opportunity to pick out tomorrow’s salad or even tonight’s evening meal.
Green Tomato encourage their customers to bring out their containers, baskets and shopping bags to fill up at the mobile float, to limit the use of plastic and again, reducing your carbon footprint.
