Ash Tree Vets is a local and longstanding veterinary practice dedicated to providing a high quality, caring and professional service to all of our clients and the animals in our care. Our friendly and experienced team provide veterinary care to the dogs, cats and small furry creatures of Market Harborough and surrounding areas with additional branches operating in Kibworth and Desborough. Our management are passionate about the environment and increasingly want to make sustainability a key focus of how we deliver our services.
Description of Organisation or Services
We have created an internal 'Green team' dedicated to reducing our resource use, waste production and improving our sustainability across the practice. So far we have implemented increased recycling processes, reduced single use items where possible and even created a pollinator friendly garden area in our car park
We have committed to an external accreditation scheme with 'Investors in the Environment' who will audit our progress.
We offer a 'take back' scheme to our registered clients whereby they can return difficult to recycle plastic blister packaging, from medication dispensed to them by us for recycling.
