Located in one of the last 'yards or Tofts' Aldwinckles Coffee House is situated just off the bustling historic Church Street of Market Harborough.
The covered courtyard and inside coffee house offer a secluded and peaceful location to bring friends or come on your own to sample the range of locally roasted coffees, speciality lattes, loose leaf teas, homemade cakes and delicious savoury cuisine.
We offer a wide range of freshly prepared hot and cold foods, with many ingredients being sourced from local independent producers.
Description of Organisation or Services
Where possible we serve food that can be decanted into reusable jars and dishes rather than in single-use plastic. Most of our takeaway packaging is recyclable or compostable and we actively encourage customers to bring their reusable cups for takeaway drinks. We use local suppliers where possible to reduce our food miles and support the local economy. Our used coffee grounds and tea leaves are collected by a local allotment society for use on their land. Our food waste is collected by Refood UK who uses anaerobic digestion to turn it into fuel and bio-fertiliser. We refill our soap dispensers and detergents at The Eco-Village.
