Joining a local or national community group is a great way of working with others to help tackle the Climate Crisis. And it is often a lot of fun too! So on this page, we hope to give you some ideas for groups you might want to consider joining.

Since you are already visiting the Sustainable Harborough Community (SHC) website, if you haven't done so already, we suggest you join SHC as a Member. Membership is free.
You don't have to commit yourself to anything, but we would be really pleased if you were to get actively involved in one of our subgroups :

All Sustainable Harborough Community members get a weekly emailing of 'Here Is The News'. This gives a round up of all the activities events and projects that are underway with the various subgroups. It also includes general items of interest about Climate Crisis related news and activity underway in national groups. You can read back copies of

Join Another Local Group

There are lots of local groups who undertake activities aimed at responding to the Climate Crisis. Many of them are listed in the Harborough Green Directory. Just type 'Volunteers' in the search box, and see if there are any you might like to join.
