It was a really successful day for the United for Warm Homes campaign at the Artisans Market yesterday. Lots of people signed our petition and several people brought knitted square along, so we are now well on the way to creating our House Cosy!
There is still time for you to contribute to the 'craftivism' project yourself. Squares can be knitted or crocheted, and need to be 6" / 25cm square. Completed squares can be dropped off at the Knit and Trim stall in the Indoor Market, where Chloe will be happy to look after them until we are able to collect them.
We plan to put the House Cosy together and cover the house with it during Harborough Big Green Week at the Big Green Picnic in Welland Park on Sunday June 18th. Do come along and join in the cover up ceremony!
