As lockdown lifts and we have the opportunity to travel further afield, let's not forget the local treasures that we can explore.
A colour themed walk is a fun way to boost how much you recognise the nature around you.
I walked along Alvington Way and snapped a photo of each purple flower that I spotted... not bad for a 700m photo walk!
Perhaps you could challenge yourself to walk the rainbow - seven walks for the seven colours, or go for a walk and not come home until you have found each colour of the rainbow? Add your images on Instagram with #mindfulcolourwalk and you may feature on the local Mindful Colour Walk page.
Some short walks in Market Harborough can be found here.
Northamptonshire Walks offer a great number of walking routes in and around Northampton.
Choose How You Move also offer a plethora of carbon free transport options.
If you're enthusiastic about improving carbon free transport options in Harborough District, please consider joining our Zero Carbon Transport Sub-group - find more information and register your interest here.
Don't forget sunscreen if the sun comes back!
