After 2 years of campaigning, the council has finally published a Climate Action Plan. It’s great news – thanks so much if you wrote to your local councillor back in September to call for a strong plan.
But we’re worried the plan still doesn’t go far enough, fast enough – that there’s no sense of urgency and very few targets or milestones that would drive councillors to take ambitious local climate action.
It’s not too late to change this. So please, will you ask Harborough District Council to deliver a stronger Climate Action Plan full of specific and measurable solutions to cut greenhouse gas emissions?
