Book your place with Brian. You will need a copy of the course booklet, CARING FOR CREATION £3.80 plus postage – email Brian - revbdavis@aol.com
Each session will begin with an interview, including Chris French (Project manager for Welland Valley Trust), Professor Heiko Balzter (Research professor and Director of the Centre for Landscape and Climate Research at the University of Leicester) and Graham Truscott (Pioneering cleantech, social entrepreneur and active environmentalist).
We will then break out into small groups for discussion, each with a leader.
A TIME OF CRISIS
‘To put it simply, the state of the planet is broken. Humanity is waging war on nature. This is suicidal.’ (UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres 3.12.20).
The human race is facing its greatest challenge: global warming, leading to climate change. This, along with the damage we have done, and are still doing to the environment, God’s wonderful creation, means that we all have to make radical changes to our whole way of life. Our faith should enable us to open our eyes and see what is actually happening to our planet today, and still believe there is much that we can do, individually and together.
